Far Away...

Staring at my gtalk screen and waiting for him to come online.
Its just a few days back that he went there (SFO), but am missing him like hell.
We rarely got chances to spend time together but still.. now it feels as if a part of mine is missing.
Its rightly said ,"You dont marry someone you can live with, you marry the one without whom you cant live".
I miss those long calls, I miss those text messages, I miss those times when you call just to say some stupid stuffs, I MISS YOU! :( ..Come back soon.
Life without you seems to be a waste.
Of all the guys I met, you are so unique..so elegant . I do believe you were created just for me :)

Wherever you go,whatever you do, i will be right here waiting for you .. i will be dreaming that soon i can hold you tight and can show how much i love you..always remember i will care for you and will love you forever...

Back after couple of weeks....

Few more days to go :)

Couple of weeks have passed since I got my toe fixed and one week since I went for my visa interview. God knows how many sleepless nights :)

Finally things seem to be falling into pieces. Lets hope it stays like that..... Few things happened since I have last updated.

1. She came to Bhubaneswar. Woo Hoo....
2. She fell ill....
3. She fell ill again....
(LOL...she must be mad by now)
4. Visa got approved....
5. New passport needed.....
6. We went on a date...(That leads to her falling ill again...dont ask !!)
7. She is back to her old self on phone again (Again don't ask !!) :D

I am having a nightmare for writing an invitation.....really i do. :(

Pictures worth thousand words :)

We often talk about her various photographs. She has the most photogenic face I ve seen so far, so I kind of get overjoyed when I see one of her pictures (She has a magical smile you know.)

She understands this and time to time sends me new pictures of her:) and in due course I have gathered a vast collection of her pictures. I intend to keep it as a habit of putting all of her pics together at one place. Recently she wanted me to help her find a software that could create slideshows of photographs with effects. While trying I ended up making one of hers yesterday. Its in Youtube but a private link.

Not sharing it here..as we both already have it and we want to keep it that way :)

After a heartfelt post from her..let me put a really lame one.

Let me clarify little confusions that our future readers will have.....The blog operates on one email id, so Even if one of us posts...it always appears as Shakti....but its expected from a friend of ours to understand..........else go check your brain....or start hanging out more with us.....In current state u r hardly qualified for our friendship :)

Dreams do come true!!!

Like every other girl, even I had a dream..
Dream of being with a man who truely loves her,adores her and stays with her no matter what.

But with passing time, with so many break up stories and divorces in news ..my dream seemed to be silly..

Just when I was willing to go with any random man, you came to my life.
And for a second, I thought “Is it a dream??? If yes, then Oh God lemme never wake up “ :)

You are what I always thought of... Caring, Understanding, Loving ,
Well Well in this package called “Shakti Ashirvad”... other qualities that comes are silly, a bit annoying, childish, etc etc etc ;)

But together we rock.. we laugh at every silly joke... We plan for almost every occasion .. We have our “Wish List” in place.. we have our stupid arguements.. (Its kinda nice using the term “WE” )..Whats matters the most is that we are ready to be together irrespective of our differences.

I will quote a dialogue from “How I met your mother” ..might not be the exact words,but here it goes:
Someone somewhere is made for you.. He/She is trying his/her best to come to you as fast as possible.. All you need to do is have faith and wait..

Finally I am with someone i always dreamt of.
So yes, Dreams do come true :)

A journey like never before....

Today after getting up, I went to my drawing room where mum dad were in an active conversation. It took me more than a minute to understand that they were making a list of people to invite for my marriage. These kind of discussions kind of make me go into FTL (Startrek term my mistake..stands for Faster-than-light)

I took care to make the unstructured conversation of my parents a fruitful one by introducing terms like Bugdet, Man-power ..etc and could make them see the light that You-cant-arrange-properly-for-1000-guests. With many iterations and cost cutting, we arrived at 650 (Sorry to those of you who couldnt be invited). Also we made kind of a preliminary menu to start on.


However coming back to point, I soon realized that there are two things more important than my marriage.
1. The time I spend with my wife after marriage. (Me and my Fiancee made an arrangement about Brownie points and some gifts to encourage these kind of sweet talks)
2. The time till marriage - the preparation, the excitement and what not.

Loosing these over time didnt seem like a good idea and I sent a quick SMS to her.

Me: I ve an idea :)
She: What?
Me: Lets start a blog about our marriage n both will scribble our stuff on it. Daily or whenever we want. We will capture everything there including invitations n all...
She:  Good idea :-)


Stupid me...the idea didnt come earlier. I cd have put all our SMS conversation here. :p

Anyway better late than never.....
